PRISMA protocol for a systematic literature review on life cycle assessment of end-of-life tires

This project documents the protocol and PRISMA 2020 reporting materials for a systematic literature review on the application of life cycle assessment (LCA) to end-of-life tire management. The review examines how LCA has been applied to recycling, applications of end-of-life tire-derived materials and coproducts, and energy valorization, with particular emphasis on methodological practices related to functional units, system boundaries, life cycle inventory construction, transportation, multifunctionality, life cycle impact assessment methods, sensitivity analysis, and uncertainty analysis. The project includes the review protocol, the PRISMA 2020 flow diagram, and the completed PRISMA 2020 checklist. These materials support the transparency, traceability, and reproducibility of the review process and contribute to open science practices in environmental assessment and circular economy research.
