The effect of chronic pain in the willingness to exert cognitive effort

This study aims to investigate the effect of chronic pain on the willingness to exert cognitive effort. More specifically, we want to find out how chronic pain affects individuals' decisions when the choice is offered between a low effort task for a low reward an a high effort task for a high reward. To investigate this, we will conduct an online experiment using an effort-based decision-making paradigm.
