Post–Clinical Complete Response Management in Stage III Non–Small Cell Lung Cancer
Abstract
This project documents a retrospective, real-world cohort study of patients with stage III non–small cell lung cancer who achieved a clinical complete response after induction chemo-immunotherapy. The study focuses on post–clinical complete response management patterns in routine clinical practice, using surgical consolidation status within a predefined time window as the primary analytical axis. Primary and secondary outcomes include event-free survival, overall survival, and patterns of failure (locoregional versus distant). The project is observational and hypothesis-generating in nature, does not test superiority or non-inferiority between treatment strategies, and does not challenge surgical resection as the current standard recommendation after successful conversion therapy. The study protocol and analysis plan are preregistered to enhance transparency and reproducibility.
