Appendix-1. The integralist school of music analysis in the USSR
Abstract
This is a brief summary of the method of multi-factorial structural semiotic analysis of music that emerged in Moscow during the late 1950s and became prevalent in the USSR and the Soviet block countries. The analysis method that I use in my research is an update of this method.
