Evidence Mapping of Outcome Measures in Clinical Trials of Traditional Chinese Medicine for Simple Obesity in Adults
Abstract
This study aims to conduct an evidence mapping to systematically review the outcome measures used in randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for simple obesity in adults. By analyzing the distribution of outcome domains—including anthropometric indices, biochemical markers, patient-reported outcomes (PROs), and TCM syndrome scores—this study will identify the gaps between current clinical research practice and guideline recommendations, providing evidence for constructing a multidimensional evaluation system.
