Evaluating Cyclists’ Level of Traffic Stress and Perceived Urban Cycling
Abstract
The aim of the study is to assess the relationship between computed Level of Traffic Stress (LTS) and cyclists' perceived comfort during real trips. Participants across different age groups will be equipped with sensors to record their trips. The study tests whether computed stress aligns with perceived comfort and whether age moderates this relationship. The objective of the experiment is to evaluate bikeability models and integrate tailored bikeability models into navigation tools across different age groups and genders.
