Abstract

We aim to investigate how exposure to fictional conspiracy TV series can increase people's beliefs in conspiracy theories. We expect that people who watch these shows will show increase in TV series-specific conspiracy beliefs, as opposed to non-conspiracy TV series. This association will be further enhanced when participants perceive the TV series clips as more entertaining.
