Abstract

1️⃣ What v2 Adds What Meta-Time v2 Adds Meta-Time v2 introduces a structural maturation of the Relational Time framework rather than a conceptual shift. While v1 demonstrated that time can emerge from meaningful prediction error, v2 establishes how and why this emergence stabilizes through three key additions: Observer Reintegration The observer is restored as an explicit structural entity, mediating between prediction, observation, and temporal flow. Time no longer advances from error alone, but from observer-interpreted deviation. Time Density as a First-Class Quantity Temporal Density is introduced as a persistent scalar describing how “compressed” or “diluted” time is within a cognitive process. Density is not a function call, but an accumulated structural state. State-Conditioned Temporal Growth Temporal progression is now state-dependent: STAGNANT → time nearly freezes LIVING → time flows smoothly AWAKENING → time accelerates non-linearly Together, these additions transform Meta-Time from a proof-of-concept into a stable, observer-grounded temporal metric suitable for adaptive systems and AGI research.
