There Is No Outside: Infinite Containment, Ontological Dependence, and the Macro-to-Inward Creation Principle
Abstract
This treatise argues that if God is truly infinite in the strict metaphysical sense, then nothing can exist outside God. Any ontologically independent domain would bound the divine, and a bounded being is not infinite. The work develops three formal arguments (the Boundary, Container, and Immutability-Infinity Arguments), formalizes them in S5 modal logic, and defends them against the modal collapse objection. The positive contribution is the Macro-to-Inward Creation Principle: because there is no ontological outside of God, creation is internal differentiation within infinite Being, not outward extension into an independent void. The Incarnation is read as the supreme demonstration of this principle. The treatise integrates Thomistic divine simplicity, Augustine, Trinitarian theology, tripartite anthropology, and contemporary cosmology including JWST Hubble tension findings. It includes 16 figures, a five-position comparative table, and a Safe/Speculative Claims Ledger classifying every claim by epistemic status. 37 pages. Publication-ready
