Abstract

This is a protocol for a mixed-methods systematic review of literature to explore gender equitable interactions in online videoconferencing meetings. Previous scoping reviews have focused on synthesising recommended practice for maintaining gender equity in work environments e.g. (Tricco et al., 2024) though notably, this is not exclusively in online meeting formats. As such, the current protocol aims to add to this area by providing a consensus on gender equity research in online work interactions specifically, providing a formal summary and quality assessment of research in this area. Objectives: A systematic review of available literature will be conducted. The review will aim to evaluate and synthesise evidence on gender equity in online meetings.
