Abstract

This Treatise presents a non-narrative ethical framework for contemporary governance, science, and the humanities, derived from but distinct from a previously published literary work. It advances the proposition that modern systems of practice require not only technical capacity and institutional design, but an orienting ethic capable of restoring coherence across fragmented domains. The framework develops the concepts of reverence, solitary compassion, communal recognition, and transitional afflux as interrelated mechanisms through which ethical orientation may be reintroduced without prescribing ideology or doctrine. Through conceptual analysis and applied annexes, the Treatise demonstrates how this ethic may be integrated into existing policy cycles, research governance, and evaluative practices. The work is intended as an open, pluralistic contribution to interdisciplinary inquiry on legitimacy, coherence, and long-horizon human flourishing.
