Review of interventions to reduce exposures that have immunomodulatory effect in firefighters

Review the literature on technical and regulatory interventions for reduction of exposure to multiple known and suspected chemical pollutants with a focus on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs, known carcinogens and immune effectors), Per- and Polyfluorinated Substances (PFAS, known endocrine disruptors), formaldehyde and benzene (known carcinogens) and the influence on immune markers in firefighters.
