Abstract

This review forms part of part of Task 1.1 of the YEAH project. Parent‑mediated, theory‑based interventions will be systematically reviewed and meta‑analysed to evaluate their effectiveness in improving children’s physical activity, sedentary behaviour, diet, and sleep. The review will also examine how intervention design, behaviour change techniques, and psychological mechanisms influence outcomes. Ultimately, the synthesis aims to provide robust pooled effect estimates, identify key moderators, and inform future holistic interventions for young people’s health.
