Abstract

We intend to examine the effect of ADHD-MDD comorbidity on response inhibition to sad faces. Past work has found deficits in response inhibition to sad faces in individuals suffering from depression, and countless literature suggests general response inhibition deficits in ADHD, particularly with hyperactivity symptoms. Therefore, our study intends to investigate whether there is an additive effect between ADHD and MDD for deficits in response inhibition to sad faces using an emotional Go/No-Go paradigm.
