Abstract

The aim of this scoping review is to map all the evidence available regarding recommendations for good practices in the design and application of written assessment in undergraduate health science students. This scoping review will focus on the evidence of the last 10 years due to the paradigm shift in written assessment from an evaluation center on memorization to approaches that value the development of skills and the application of knowledge to real situations through written assessment and also due to the characteristics of the “Z” generation that have been trained in health science during this period.
