Adhering to smart(not friendly) empathic medical AI ? —— A chain mediation model.

With its advantages of convenience, immediacy and personalization, AI consultation has rapidly made inroads into medical field. This study will be carried out in a real medical context, creating a situation in which patients interact with a medical text-based conversational agent, and manipulating the empathy level to explore whether the enhancement of empathic ability of medical AI can improve patients' adherence to it and the underlying mechanisms.
