Abstract

This final internship report discusses the design and development of an Internet of Things (IoT)–based air quality monitoring system aimed at supporting workplace safety in an industrial environment, with a case study conducted at PT. Petro Jordan Abadi. The developed system integrates various industrial air quality measurement instruments, such as gas and environmental sensors, to continuously monitor air conditions in real time and transmit the collected data wirelessly to a centralized monitoring platform. Through the analysis of the characteristics, performance, and functions of the industrial instruments employed, this system is expected to provide accurate and timely information on potential air quality hazards, thereby assisting the company in improving occupational health and safety (OHS) management and enhancing the effectiveness of environmental monitoring within industrial operations.
