Intergenerational Trauma Transmission and the Path to Resilience: A Case Study
Abstract
English: This project provides a detailed biographical and psychological analysis of Herta Bertel (née Krug), examining the mechanisms of intergenerational trauma transmission. It documents the impact of early childhood institutionalization, public shaming, and emotional neglect on both the mother and her son, Peter Siegfried Krug. The study highlights the path to late-life resilience and the breaking of the trauma spiral through documentation and self-actualization. This work is part of a broader mission to document institutional abuse and promote systemic change.
