Comparative Effects of Preoperative Exercise Modalities on Postoperative Outcomes in Patients Receiving Total Joint Arthroplasty: A Network Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials
Abstract
We aimed to identify the most effective type of preoperative exercise for improving postoperative outcomes by performing a network meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials investigating preoperative exercise interventions in patients undergoing total joint arthroplasty. Postoperative pain and functional outcomes were evaluated. Our findings may offer evidence to support the potential role of preoperative exercise in improving postoperative outcomes.
