Abstract

This systematic review examines the effects of vegan and vegetarian dietary interventions in breast cancer patients, focusing on quality of life, fatigue, and body composition. Plant-based diets are of growing interest in oncology due to their potential antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, yet clinical evidence remains limited. This review synthesises the available data to evaluate potential benefits and limitations, and to identify gaps in the current evidence base. Key highlights include: - Analysis of the impact of plant-based diets on quality of life, fatigue, and body composition. - Identification of research gaps to inform future, evidence-based nutritional recommendations.
