Assessing Understandability and Usability of Online Videos on Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip Prevention and Care for Caregivers: A Protocol for a Systematic Video Analysis Study
Abstract
This study aims to systematically evaluate the understandability, actionability, and quality of Japanese-language videos on YouTube related to developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH). Using a systematic quantitative content analysis, publicly accessible videos will be identified based on predefined search strategies and inclusion criteria. The findings are expected to clarify the strengths and limitations of existing online video content and to inform the development of caregiver-centered educational materials to support early awareness and preventive care for DDH.
