Accessibility to primary health care services for persons with disabilities: scoping review protocol
Abstract
This scoping review seeks to map the global literature on the accessibility of primary health care services for persons with disabilities. This protocol will consider that it will be essential for all countries to invest in accessible environments, train professionals who are sensitive to diversity, and implement public policies that ensure universal access to health care. The elimination of physical, communicational, attitudinal, programmatic, and cultural barriers will be fundamental to promoting equity within health systems and ensuring comprehensive access, including for persons with disabilities.
