The influence of evolutionary explanations on perceptions of an ADHD vignette

This experiment tests whether evolutionary explanations of ADHD reduce stigmatisation compared to standard biomedical explanations. Participants will read a vignette describing an individual with ADHD traits, answer baseline questions, then receive either an evolutionary or biomedical explanation of those traits, before answering the same questions again. We hypothesise that evolutionary explanations will improve attitudes towards the individual with ADHD on multiple dimensions.
