UNTIL WE KNOW FULLY: FAITH, HUMILITY, AND LIVING WITH PARTIAL UNDERSTANDING
Abstract
ABSTRACT / DESCRIPTION Until We Know Fully: Faith, Humility, and Living With Partial Understanding is a pastoral, non-combative work written for people who love God yet find themselves quietly unsettled by the scale of the modern world—deep time, cosmology, scientific discovery, and the hard questions asked by younger generations. Rather than arguing positions or dismantling inherited beliefs, the book focuses on reassurance, humility, and ethical grounding. Drawing heavily from Scripture—especially Paul’s reminder that “we know in part”—it invites readers to see uncertainty not as failure, but as a natural part of faith lived honestly and lovingly. This work prioritizes love over certainty, process over instant resolution, and gentleness over confrontation. It is intended for parents, pastors, small-group leaders, and individuals navigating faith in an age of rapid knowledge expansion, without demanding that anyone abandon what they have loved or believed. The project is published freely as part of the House of Arnold commitment to open access, shared learning, and reducing unnecessary anxiety during times of cultural and intellectual growth.
