Abstract

Abstract: Introduction Solid-organ transplantation is a complex treatment pathway that requires long-term, multidisciplinary follow-up involving nurses, physiotherapists, diagnostic and technical professionals, transplant coordinators, psychologists, and dietitians. International guidelines highlight the need for integrated models of care and multidimensional assessment, including functional, psychosocial, adherence-related, and patient-reported outcomes, in addition to traditional clinical indicators. However, evidence on non-pharmacological interventions in post-transplant care is fragmented, organ-specific, and lacks standardisation in outcome measurement. A structured mapping of interventions and outcome indicators across professional roles and outcome domains is currently missing. Objective To systematically map interdisciplinary non-pharmacological interventions delivered to adult solid-organ transplant recipients and to identify the outcome indicators used to evaluate these interventions across clinical, functional, patient-reported, process-related, and economic domains. Methods and Analysis Guided by the PRISMA-ScR and JBI frameworks, a comprehensive search will be conducted across MEDLINE, CINAHL, Scopus, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, and PsycINFO, with no date limits and English-language restrictions. Eligible studies will include a broad range of study designs (quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods), provided they report non-pharmacological interventions delivered by healthcare professionals to adult solid-organ transplant recipients, across any post-transplant setting. Narrative reviews, editorials, commentaries, conference abstracts without full text, Pharmacological-only interventions and paediatric studies without separable adult data will be excluded. Two reviewers will independently screen records via Rayyan, extract data using a piloted charting form, and resolve discrepancies through consensus or a third reviewer. Data will be synthesized through ABSTRACT 2 descriptive summaries and tabulated mappings of interventions, professional roles, outcome indicators, and measurement tools. Ethics and Dissemination Ethics approval is not required as the review uses published data. Findings will be disseminated through peer-reviewed publication, conference presentations, and integration into the doctoral project developing a multidimensional indicator framework for post-transplant care. Key Words Multidisciplinary care, non-pharmacological interventions, Outcome indicators, Solid-organ transplantation
