Abstract

This study relied on previously validated manipulations to assess consequences of heroism, using a previously validated scale. We will evaluate how manipulating heroism through risk and helpfulness frames of target occupations, can influence gratitude, support for workers' demands, perception of workers suffering/support for helping workers, criticism and hate speech acceptability, support for impunity, belief that workers would endure pain for the sake of the mission, belief that workers would agree to be exploited, and support for exploiting workers when needed.
