Abstract

This study focuses on effort-based decision making (EBDM) in depressed vs. non-depressed Parkinson's disease while ON or OFF dopaminergic medication. EBDM is measured with a behavioral task that is partly performed in the MRI scanner. We will investigate group (depressed vs. non-depressed) and medication (ON vs. OFF) effects at both behavioral and fMRI level. Furthermore, we will look at correlations between the EBDM outcomes and DAT binding in the striatum.
