CCFy: A Simulation-Based Structural Framework for Consciousness and Decision-Making
Abstract
The Consciousness Curvature Framework (CCFy) is an independent, interdisciplinary research framework that proposes a structural model for understanding consciousness, decision-making, and cognitive dynamics through curvature-based abstractions. CCFy integrates perspectives from artificial intelligence, neuroscience, cognitive science, philosophy of mind, and complex systems theory. The framework investigates how attention, intention, affect, and agency emerge from non-linear interactions within cognitive systems, offering a formal lens for modeling variability, instability, and coherence in conscious experience. This OSF project serves as the primary open research hub for CCFy, hosting conceptual papers, methodological notes, simulations, diagrams, and future empirical extensions. All materials are shared within an open science paradigm to promote transparency, reproducibility, reuse, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
