Abstract

This registration refers to the description and scoring procedures of a new instrument, the Mini-Multidimensional Inventory of Ageism (Mini-MIA). The Mini-MIA is a newly developed instrument designed to assess ageism in children aged 6 to 11 years across multiple dimensions. The instrument is organised into five parts, each targeting a specific component of ageism. Part I assesses age-related stereotypes. Part II evaluates age-related prejudice and discrimination, integrating both explicit and implicit components. Part III examines implicit ageism through indirect measures. Part IV assesses the quality of relationships with older adults and the frequency of contact with them. Part V evaluates knowledge about aging.
