What do Pharmacists do? A survey with free-text and closed-ended items
Abstract
The main purpose of the study is to learn what members of the public think pharmacists do. The exploratory aims of the study are to learn: (a) if people are more likely to use positive or negatively valenced words to describe pharmacists, (b) what people know about pharmacists' education and where they work, (c) if information about a pharmacy shortage influences people's perspectives on this issue, and (d) do members of the public think about dispensing safety (e.g., do they check the medication they are provided, and do they ask any questions about it)
