Abstract

The purpose of this scoping review is to systematically identify and map existing indices related to disaster risk reduction, social vulnerability, community resilience, and population health as well as describe their conceptual foundations, development rationale, methodologies, and intended uses. It is expected that the evidence synthesized will highlight overlaps, distinctions, and gaps in current measures of vulnerability and resilience that can inform future research and practice.
