Causal dominoes - mechanism only; comprehension check

This study is one of two batteries designed to test the relationship between children’s understanding of physical causal mechanisms and their understanding of causal relationships given the covariation of interventions and outcomes. This battery is designed to look at children’s ability to reason about causal chains, common effect, and common cause structures using a familiar, readily observable mechanism, chains of domino collisions which transmit force.
