Abstract

Loneliness is a feeling that arises when our social relationships do not meet our expectations. However, relatively little is known about the relationship between working conditions and loneliness in everyday life. Therefore, we conducted this daily diary study to investigate how loneliness and various working conditions are related on a daily basis. We were especially interested in the extent to which people experience loneliness in their everyday working lives, as well as the conditions that can promote or protect against loneliness. The purpose of this registration is to describe the general study design. Seperate preregistrations will be conducted for specific research purposes based on the data.
