Abstract

The aim of this study is to advance a comprehensive understanding of how environmental and biological processes contribute to children’s development and, consequently, to the earliest origins of psychopathology and learning difficulties. Specifically, the project investigates the early development of socio-emotional functioning, language, cognition, temperament, and executive functioning, with particular attention to the role of early-life stress exposure. A draft of the metadata of the project can be found in files. This working paper will be updated and published later.
