Methodological Protocol: Epidemiological characterization of health scientific production in Latin America and the Caribbean (2016-2024)

This repository contains the methodological detailing of the first stage of the research agenda on the Epidemiology of knowledge production in Latin America and the Caribbean. The document describes the procedures for extraction, cleaning, and normalization of bibliometric data from the LILACS Plus interface. It includes the definition of production, impact, and collaboration indicators (network analysis), as well as detailed search strings and eligibility criteria. This protocol aims to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and analytical rigor for the public health indicators generated by the project.
