Abstract

This study is being conducted as part of a MSc dissertation for the Applied Developmental Psychology program at Queens University Belfast. This project aims to examine whether parents’ past adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) moderate the association between parenting behaviors during adolescence and the current quality of the parent-offspring relationship in young adulthood. The project incorporates multi-informant assessments from the parents (one and two-parent families) and young adult offspring.
