Mindfulness and Co-Rumination in Romantic Relationships
Abstract
Using a person-centered approach (i.e., latent profile analysis) to identify subgroups of trait mindfulness among individuals in romantic relationships, we aim to examine 1) whether individuals of different trait mindfulness class memberships differ in the amount of co-rumination they reported in their romantic relationships, and 2) whether the associations between co-rumination and their individual well-being and relationship well-being differ based on individuals’ trait mindfulness class memberships.
