French Adaptation and Validation of “The Awareness of Social Inference Test” (TASIT)

This study aims to translate, adapt, and psychometrically validate a French version of The Awareness of Social Inference Test (TASIT), a video-based task of social cognition assessing emotion recognition and theory of mind/social inference. In a sample of healthy adults, participants complete the French TASIT alongside established instruments assessing related constructs. Analyses will examine internal consistency, test–retest reliability, and construct validity. The expected outcome is a reliable and valid French-language TASIT suitable for research in French-speaking populations.
