Abstract

This study conducts a systematic literature review, following PRISMA protocol, to explore how specific categories of underrepresented employees, such as people from a range of ethnic, cultural, and national identities, LGBTQIA+ individuals, perceive the impact of remote work on their well-being. As remote work continues to reshape organizational structures and employee experiences, it is essential to understand the distinct challenges and benefits experienced by individuals from marginalized groups. The review will follow PRISMA guidelines to identify, assess, and synthesize peer reviewed empirical studies published between 2015 and 2025. The goal is to map current findings, highlight research gaps, and offer insights to support inclusive remote work policies and practices that prioritize employee well-being.
