Developmental profiles of infants with early-onset epilepsy: Protocol for a scoping review

This review aims to synthesise relevant literature to map the extent and type of evidence available concerning (i) developmental profiles of infants and children with early-onset epilepsy and (ii) relationships between different developmental domains in infants and children with early-onset epilepsy. A secondary aim of this review is to map available evidence on the impact of factors such as epilepsy diagnosis, age of epilepsy onset, and epilepsy treatment on child development.
