The Perceived Physical Literacy Instrument (PPLI): A Systematic Review of Psychometric Properties Using COSMIN Guidelines
Abstract
This project is a systematic review of the measurement properties of the Perceived Physical Literacy Instrument (PPLI) following COSMIN guidelines. We will identify and synthesize all validation studies of the PPLI across populations and language versions. Methodological quality will be assessed with the COSMIN Risk of Bias checklist, and results will be judged against COSMIN criteria for good measurement properties (e.g., content validity, structural validity, internal consistency, reliability, cross-cultural validity). The overall certainty of evidence for each property will be graded using COSMIN’s modified GRADE approach. The review will provide clear recommendations on whether the PPLI can be used with confidence, where it should be used cautiously, and what validation gaps remain.
