Current Research Status of Risk Factors for Deep Vein Thrombosis Following Hip Arthroplasty: A Scoping Review
Abstract
The incidence of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) after hip replacement surgery is relatively high and may lead to various adverse outcomes. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of the risk factors for DVT is crucial for developing effective prevention and control measures. However, current risk factors influencing DVT exhibit multidimensional and complex characteristics, and evidence in this field remains uncertain. Furthermore, existing studies on risk factors are largely confined to validating statistical associations, with limited attention paid to stratifying the quality of evidence, identifying core risk factors, or exploring pathways of interaction among factors. Based on this, this study aims to synthesize relevant evidence through a scoping review, conduct quality assessments to identify core risk factors, and further utilize directed acyclic graphs (DAGs) to visualize the pathways of interaction among variables, thereby providing a theoretical basis for the precise prevention and control of deep vein thrombosis after hip replacement surgery.
