This is the abstract and bibliography for a talk hosted by the Center for the Study of Medicine and the Body in the Renaissance, Domus Comeliana, Pisa. The lecture, "The Transformation of Infectious Disease Histories: Three Decades of Paleogenetics and Historians' Responses," covers the developments in paleogenomics over the past 30 years that have been transforming our understanding of the world's major infectious diseases.
