Beyond the Grades: Understanding the Emotional Burden of Honors Education (PART 1)
Abstract
In this article, I will explore the potential consequences of these educational disparities, focusing specifically on the psychological impacts they have on adolescents. Through my observations, I predict that the combination of excessive academic pressure and insufficient support will lead to heightened levels of anxiety, depression, and burnout among students. As we will see, these outcomes are not merely hypothetical—they are deeply rooted in the psychology of stress and cognitive overload.
