Recto/Verso Method™
Abstract
The Recto/Verso Method™ establishes a dual-form structure for studying experience: a phenomenological verso that records the raw appearance of sensation, timing, texture, and orientation, and a cognitive recto that articulates conceptual, analytical, or theoretical reflection. Rather than blending description and interpretation, the method holds them in disciplined separation to preserve the integrity of each. This white paper outlines the formal rules governing the verso, the methodological constraints shaping the recto, and the research applications for maintaining this two-page architecture across phenomenology, somatics, pedagogy, and interdisciplinary inquiry.
