Divine Justice and the Business of Letting Go
Abstract
In the pursuit of high-integrity stewardship, we must distinguish between "substance"—the eternal, God-given value of the soul—and "vapor," the fleeting, artificial judgments of the world. In our modern landscape, "value" is frequently treated as a vapor: something without substance, fleeting, or purely ornamental. However, a high-integrity worldview demands we look beneath these metrics. Every human being carries the Imago Dei (the Image of God), making their value a fixed, eternal substance bestowed by the Sovereign Creator rather than a transactional vapor.
