Abstract

Lawrence K. Wang 王 抗 曝 (2026), Two Core-Style Poems: "The True Meaning of Human Continuity" and "The True Love of Life's Growth" , Global Humanities and Liberal Arts, Volume 2026, Number 1E, 19 pages, 2026(1E), January 5, 2026; Lenox Institute Press, MA, USA. …… ABSTRACT: This paper introduces the "Core-Style Poem" (核心詩體), a novel poetic form developed by Dr. Lawrence K. Wang that adapts the philosophical rigor of the classical Chinese Fu (賦) tradition for the modern age. In an era of complexity, this form reclaims poetry as a tool for logical inquiry through two structural innovations: a "Core Character" that serves as a conceptual fulcrum, and a "Dialectical Pattern" that drives argument through systematic negation and affirmation. Through the analysis of two seminal works—"The True Meaning of Human Continuity" and "The True Love of Life's Growth"—the presentation demonstrates the form's versatility in addressing both geopolitical order and personal enlightenment. It argues that the Core-Style Poem offers a "Unified Philosophy," revealing that the principles required for a peaceful world are identical to those necessary for a cultivated self. ….
