Abstract

This dataset contains the complete laboratory protocol used at the Geoarchaeological Laboratory of the Institut Català de Paleoecologia Humana i Evolució Social (IPHES, Tarragona, Spain) for the preparation of micromorphological thin sections. The protocol details each step of the preparation process, including sample drying, impregnation, and thin section production. Equipment specifications and resin component proportions are provided to ensure methodological transparency and reproducibility.
