Study Design and Study Area A community-based cross-sectional study was conducted between June to December 2025 in selected districts within the Greater Accra, Ashanti, and Bono East Regions of Ghana. These regions were selected to reflect differences in urbanization, dog ownership patterns, availability of veterinary services, and access to healthcare facilities.
