Video S1. Neurological signs and abnormal swimming behaviour in golden rabbitfish (Siganus guttatus) infected with Streptococcus iniae
Abstract
This video shows representative neurological signs observed in golden rabbitfish (Siganus guttatus) naturally infected with Streptococcus iniae, including disoriented swimming, loss of equilibrium, and abnormal locomotor behaviour near the water surface. The footage was recorded during disease outbreaks in marine cage culture systems in Vietnam. This video is provided as supplementary material (Video S1) for the article “Streptococcus iniae infection in golden rabbitfish (Siganus guttatus) cultured in marine cages: pathogenicity, virulence profiles and antimicrobial resistance”. The video footage was recorded by Truong Dinh Hoai.
